How it works:
The four components illustrated above work seamlessly together to ensure maximum security for your bolt. First, the bushing is fitted onto the bolt and then inserted through the spinner. The bushing is designed to enhance textile strength while relieving pressure from the spinner, allowing it to spin freely. The access tool is specifically designed to fit between the teeth of the spinner while providing access to the bolt. The Origin
Rolf Scholtz, and Peter Scholtz, founded Spinguard on March 20, 2025, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The idea first emerged in 2020 when they realized that no effective tamper-proof bolt options existed. Existing solutions were either too generic and easy to defeat, breakaway designs that rendered bolts unusable, or highly secure but permanent. Determined to solve this problem, they developed a cost-efficient bolt cover that fits onto existing hex bolts while offering unbeatable security. Their relentless innovation led to the creation of Spinguard—the tamper-proof bolt cover that transforms any standard hex bolt into a secure, tamper proof fixture.
